Decisions from AGM: Charities to be funded over the next 3 years

At the AGM in Loughcrew – consideration was given to the applications received from five charities. It was agreed that all the applications were worthy of support and it was decided to provide funding as follows:

  • Fr Francis Agricultural Project, India
  • To make Sagayapuram Village, India, agriculturally self-sustaining by providing training to Children of Village on how to farm and grow crops
  • Fully Funded from Charity Reserves

St Joseph’s Secondary School Zambia
Funding for a replacement of water tank for School.
Providing fresh water for cooking, washing and sanitation for 650 pupils, staff and neighbouring village

  • Fully Funded from Charity Reserves

Projects to be funded over next 3 Years

Blackrock Hospice

St Lazarus are providing funding to the Blackrock Hospice with funding for the purchase of equipment for the care of patients in the hospice over the next 3 years.

Standing Voice - Eden Park

St Lazarus Ireland are providing funding for the training of health professionals in the treatment of people who suffer from Albinism in Tanzania and Malawi.

RCSI - Fellowship

St Lazarus is supporting RSCI Fellowship in Trauma in Southern Africa by supporting medical students who are traveling to participate in training in Trauma Care.
